The outline of your tattoo is done first. An ointment will be used to help the needle move smoothly. Once this is completed the tattoo will be filled in with color and shading. The length of time required depends on the size of the design and how many colors it contains. Very large tattoos will usually require several visits.
White Ink Tattoos
White ink tattoos are stunning. The outline of white instead of the usual black give the tattoo the illusion of glowing. Often the white ink will be mixed with another ink so the lines gleam. There are a few drawbacks to this type of tattoo. How effective the white ink is depends on the technique of the artist and the brand of the ink. Often most of the inks used fade and become transparent or a greenish-gray coloration. Having a tattoo that changes is disturbing because tattoos are supposed to be permanent.
